Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), denied the request to file an investigation against President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in the STF.. The case concerns the alleged leak of confidential data from a Federal Police investigation into a hacker attack against the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) in 2018. The request had been made by the Deputy Attorney General of the Republic, Lindôra Araújo. In addition to denying the request, Moraes also criticized the performance of the deputy PGR and stated that the Federal Public Ministry (MPF) has no constitutional attribution to prevent the activity of the Judiciary Police.
On the eve of the presidential elections, entities and business groups are making efforts to pass on their “messages” to the presidential candidates: arranging meetings, making manifests and distributing documents. The Chamber of Deputies approved a bill that creates the National Digital Education Policy. The proposal determines actions in basic education to expand students’ access to technology on five fronts: digital inclusion, digital education, digital training and specialization, and digital research. At the moment, the project goes for approval in the Federal Senate. The proposal amends the Law of Directives and Bases of National Education so that students at all levels of schooling can learn concepts of computing, programming, robotics and other digital skills.
